Frankie Miller -- Monday Two-Fer

Some twenty years before tragedy struck in New York City, Glasgow's Frankie Miller released his second album, High Life, in January of 1974 with a little help from Allen Toussaint of New Orleans who not only arranged and produced, composed seven of its songs but also played piano and organ on the record. Horns were recorded at the well-regarded Studio in the Country in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Two favorite songs here, "Trouble" and "Little Angel," both Miller compositions found on Side One highlight Miller's vocals, Toussaint on keys, and an incredible bass player by the name of Tom Robb all from back in the day...
