Jump, Jive & Wail -- Then and Now
My Dad once told me that of all the bands he had seen, nobody in New Orleans could hold a candle to Louie Prima and Sam Butera on stage. That was high praise and I hung on every word when music came up for discussion. He was there. And, he was right.
